From Inverness: B862 through Dores and Torness towards Errogie. Three miles past Torness, turn right at the sign for Newlands, Carnoch and Croftdhu. Follow the lane up the hill until the road turns sharply left. At this point, go straight ahead onto the cottage access road. Please close the gates behind you. Charleston is on the right at the end of this track. It is the only house, so you can't miss it.
From A9: Turn off A9 at Daviot onto B851. Drive through Farr and Croachy, turning left onto the B862. After one and a quarter miles, turn right at the sign for Newlands, Carnoch and Croftdhu, then as above.
